Moonlight began in 2006 as a husband-and-wife duo, and while our journey has evolved over the years, one thing remains the same — our love for capturing life’s most meaningful moments.

We started out taking photos for friends and family, never imagining it would grow into the passion-driven business it is today. What began as a fun hobby quickly turned into something much more, as people started asking us to take their photos — and even pay us for it! Can you imagine getting paid to do something you truly love? That joy and passion are reflected in every photo we take.

Moonlight is now run solely by the original duo — just Chris and Tammy — and while we no longer have a physical studio, we’ve found something even better: we bring the experience directly to you. Whether it’s a cozy in-home newborn session, a backyard family shoot, or a stunning outdoor wedding, we offer professional, full-service photography where you feel most comfortable.

Not only is this more convenient for our clients, but it also helps us capture more natural, relaxed, and meaningful moments — in the places that matter most to you.

Tammy Bates – Co-owner and the heart of Moonlight. Tammy specializes in seniors, newborns, and anything unique or creative. She’s dedicated, creative, and will stay up all night editing your photos to perfection — just don’t expect her before noon!

Chris Bates – Co-owner and the guy behind the lens (and the tech). From capturing candid moments to staying on top of trends and creative lighting, Chris ensures each shoot is personalized and professional. He also brings video to the mix, offering cinematic storytelling to complement your photos.
